This project is focused on evaluating the implementation and update of two health promotion programs being delivered by Health Canada to various First Nations communities throughout Saskatchewan. The overall purpose is to assess Health Canada's initial intent in offering and supporting the Action Schools! BC (AS!BC) and Youth Empowerment Through Exercise (YETE) progamming, along with their implementation processes and subsequent responses of participating First Nations communities.
Goals / Outcomes: The evaluation will serve to highlight strengths and identify areas for improvement in the program implementation process from both Health Canada and First Nations community perspectives.
