COVID-19 in Saskatchewan is far from over, and we need to continue monitoring trends and behaviours to ensure a safe, continued COVID recovery. As we continue to reopen and reintegrate, more and more people are returning to school and work, reintegrating with family and friends, going out to restaurants or the gym—and thinking about how to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.
Since early May, a team of SPHERU researchers has been collecting data about how we think, interact, act, work, play, learn, move, and protect ourselves. This information is integral to understanding how to keep the virus in check while safely rebuilding community relationships and maximizing social interactions. We have analyzed and shared our data with decision-makers, practitioners, media, and the people of Saskatchewan.
This month, as schools open, more people return to work, and colder weather pushes us indoors, SPHERU is continuing this vital data collection and analysis with our Round 5 survey. If you have not taken the survey, we need your input; if you have previously taken the survey before, please take Round 5 now.
The survey has been created by a multinational team of diverse researchers from different institutions, including the University of Saskatchewan. It is hosted by Voxco, a Canadian-owned and managed company whose data is securely stored in Canada and is completely anonymous. More information on the survey is available on the survey landing page. Click here for results from our previous rounds.
The more data we collect, the better informed our strategies and guidance can be to lower our risk of outbreak and infection. You can help by taking our 15-minute survey:
Be a part of Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 recovery—take the survey now and share it across the land of living skies!
